Locally Grown Farm Fresh

Spring Valley Turkey Farm is a family owned and operated business growing fresh turkeys for the Thanksgiving season. Our Broad Breasted White Turkeys are raised with nearly four times the space they need to encourage a free range, stress free environment.

Why Buy Local?

For Freshness ! Buying a locally grown Spring Valley turkey ensures freshness every time, giving more moisture and tenderness then a store bought turkey. Our fresh killed turkey is locally grown to be lean and flavorful in the most wholesome way. Always fresh, it has no added hormones, steroids or artificial enhancers, so you can feel as good about serving it as your family will about eating it.

Our Story

At Spring Valley Turkey Farm, we believe food should be simple, fresh, and something you can feel good about putting on your table. That means taking pride in how we raise our birds, caring for them throughout the process, and staying true to the values that have kept our family farming for generations. What started as a small operation rooted in a shared love of raising animals the right way soon grew into something bigger: a commitment to bringing fresh, humanely raised turkeys to local families every Thanksgiving. We have been raising turkeys over the last 13 years with one simple belief: good food starts with knowing where it comes from.

What began as a small family operation, has grown into a farm that thrives among the local community, built on years of hands-on experience, hard work, and a genuine commitment to raising quality birds the right way.

For us, this has become tradition, a commitment to local food, and a responsibility to provide a turkey we are proud to serve our own families. Today, three generations of the family are part of the farm’s day-to-day work, with the next generation carrying the tradition forward. That hands-on, family-first approach is still at the heart of everything we do: friendly faces who know your name, care that shows in every bird we raise, and a local connection to your food that keeps families coming back year after year.

How We Raise Our Turkeys

Our turkeys benefit from ample space, nearly four times more than they need, ensuring they are never overcrowded. As a small family-run farm, our turkeys are cared for by just a few dedicated individuals. This minimizes the risk of illness and disease.

To maintain the health and safety of our turkeys, we do not allow farm tours. Turkeys raised on pasture can be exposed to parasites, viruses, and bacteria. By restricting public access, we can better protect our flock from disease and infection. Minimal interaction and handling also help our turkeys thrive throughout the season.

Farm to Table

Farm-to-Table eating provides better health and nutrition through whole, real food. Our fresh killed turkeys are processed at a nearby USDA facility only a few days prior to Thanksgiving, unlike those processed in large industrial facilities. The shorter time between the farm and your table, the less likely that nutrients will be lost from fresh food.
